The Datasheet Archive is a large free resource for electronic component datasheets and scanned data books. The company launched an ambitious effort to digitize thousands of obsolete data books and technical manuals, making them searchable via their Datasheet Archive website.
The website currently stores information (datasheets, and cross references) on over 100 million parts from 7500 manufacturers.

2N3055 datasheet and application note
The 2N3055 is a silicon epitaxial-base NPN transistor in Jedec TO-3 metal case. It is intended for power switching circuits, series and shunt regulators, output stages and high fidelity amplifiers.
